Arlene St. Marie
Arlene was born in Argyle, Minnesota on August 30, 1937. Her parents were Albert & Olive Gruhot. She had nine siblings.
Arlene attended school in Argyle and Red Lake Falls. After 8th grade she helped her dad on the family farm.
She moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin to seek employment and eventually moved back to Red Lake Falls. She was a cook at "Blackies" Café for years. She worked at Hillcrest Nursing Home as a cook and worked in the nursing department. Arlene also was a cook at a few other businesses in Red Lake Falls.
She married Ray Benoit in 1958.Together they raised three children. Ray, Lori and Roland. Arlene has seven grandchildren. Ray passed away in 1982. She later married Ray St. Marie.
Arlene attended St. Joseph Catholic Church in Red Lake Falls.
